Ensemble 212 will join the Young New Yorkers' Chorus, Rachel Calloway, David Kravitz, David Krakauer, and Hwi-Eun Kim in the world premiere of Mohammed Fairouz´┐Żs Third Symphony. Commissioned by the Middle East Center for Peace, Culture and Development at Northwestern University, this work explores both Arabic poems and texts from Israeli poet Yehuda Amichai.
